Adrienne Ames (born Ruth Adrienne McClure August 3 1907 - May 31 July 31, 1947) was an American film actress. Early in her career she was known as Adrienne Truex Ames was engaged three times. When she was a teenager, in 1920 she got married to Derward DumontTruax, the son of an oil-businessman. They divorced in 1924. They had one daughter. The marriage that followed to Stephen Ames, a broker and broker, resulted in divorce in the month of October on the 30th day of 1933. She was buried at Oakwood Cemetery near her home in Fort Worth.
